Funeral services for Marty Dwight Trusty, Sr., 45, of Kingston Springs were held Sept. 13 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Michael Hale and Mike Fuson officiated, and burial followed in Salem Cemetery.

 

He passed away Sept. 10 at Centennial Medical in Nashville.

 

He was born August 14, 1969 to his parents, the late Hoyt and Patty Taylor Trusty.

 

Marty was a Baptist and worked as a warehouse manager with Scott’s Bolt and Screw.

 

He is survived by two sons, Marty Dwight Trusty, Jr. and Tyler Trusty both of Nashville; three sisters, Karen (Arnold) Smith of Nashville, Diane Reese of Greenbrier and Pam (Tim) Craig of Joelton; two brothers, David (Sherry) Trusty of Kingston Springs and Roger (Jan) Trusty of Goodlettsville; one uncle, Doyle Taylor of Smithville; one aunt, Barbara (James) Fuson of Nashville; several nieces and nephews, and cousins also survive.

 

Pallbearers included; Tracy Murphy, Mike Fuson, Brandon Trusty, Arnold Smith, Steven Smith, and Aaron Minon.

 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements
