Mr. Void Beshearse, Jr., age 83, of Smithville passed away Tuesday night, September 8, 2020 at his home.

He was retired from Smithville Manufacturing Company and was a Farmer

Mr. Besheares was born on October 6, 1936 in Smithville to his parents, the late Void, Sr. and Ophia Waggoner Beshearse. Also preceding him in death is a brother, Eugene Beshearse; a sister, Bobby Murphy.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Patricia Hibdon Beshearse of Smithville; two brothers,  Jimmy (Louise) Beshearse of Smithville and Don (Norma) Beshearse of Ashland City; mother-in-law, Cecil, Williams of Smithville;  brother-in-law, Rayburn (Brenda) Hibdon of Woodbury;  two sisters,  Wanda Blair of Cookeville and Lestel (Jack) Cantrell of Lebanon. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside service and interment was held Friday, September 11, 2020 at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bro. Leonard Herman officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were Barry, Shannon and Kenny Beshearse and Byron Poss.

Donations can be made to Lighthouse Christian Camp in memory of Mr. Beshearse.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
