Wayne Alan Shuttleworth, age 66 of Smithville, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at his home. He was a member of the Old Way Missionary Baptist Church and a Quality Engineer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Mary Pizor Shuttleworth; infant son, Wayne Shuttleworth; brother, Wallace Shuttleworth; grandparents; and nephew, Erik Shuttleworth.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Whittaker Shuttleworth; two daughters, Brenda and Brandon Fuson and Brandy and B.J. Patterson all of Smithville; two sons, Gary and Anna Shuttleworth of Madison and Keith and Amanda Shuttleworth of Smithville; 17 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four brothers, Mark and Ruthann Shuttleworth of Pennsylvania, Glenn Shuttleworth of Florida, David and Lori Shuttleworth and Brad and Amanda Shuttleworth of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Mary and Michael Wright and Holly and Ken Werner of Pennsylvania; good friend Linda Rodgers; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles also survive.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Tim Pack officiated and burial followed in DeKalb Cemetery.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
