Funeral services for Porter Webb, 91, of Smithville were held Jan. 24 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel.

 

Bro. Eugene Atkins, Bro. Michael Hale, Eugene Haley and Greg Driver officiated, with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

 

He passed away Jan. 21 of an extended illness at NHC.

 

He was a factory worker, farmer, and a member of the Masonic Liberty Lodge #77.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelie Charles Webb and Chloe (Judkins) Webb; brothers, Junior Webb, Evert Webb, and Smith Webb; sisters, Milus Ann Barrett, and Sallie Rose McClain.

 

He is survived by sisters, Mildred (Johnny) Turner, and Violet Jo Evans both of Smithville; sister-in-law, Delene Webb of Smithville; brother-in-law, Willard McClain of Cookeville; nephews, Kenny (Robin) Webb of McMinnville, Richard Webb of Florida, Charlie Webb of McMinnville, Robert (Seleta) Barrett of Joelton, Michael Barrett of Joelton; nieces, Judy (Phil) Inglis of Maryland, Linda (Alan) Schenider of Pennsylvania, Reta (Frankie) Caldwell of Smithville, Shelia (David) Schoenmann of Smithville, Renna (Dewayne) Garrett of McMinnville, Angela (Doug) Kelley of Lebanon; several great, great-great nieces and nephews also survive.

 

A Masonic service was held on Jan. 23 at the Chapel of Dekalb Funeral Chapel.

 

Pallbearers included; Eugene Haley, Greg Driver, Robert Barrett, Jr., Kenny Webb, Charlie Webb, Daniel McClain, Frankie Caldwell, and David Schoenmann.
