Funeral services for Sandy Sanders Wheeler, 42, of Smithville were held Oct. 23 at People’s Pentecostal Church. Bro. Thomas Hewell and Bro. Michael Hale officiated with burial following in DeKalb Cemetery.

She passed away Oct. 19 in Nashville.

Sandy was born September 14, 1972 to her parents, Chester and Patricia Neal Sanders.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Sanders.

She was a CNA.

She is survived by three daughters, Tiffany (Adrian) Gallegos of Smithville, Brittaney (John Barber) Wheeler of Smithville, and Haley Wheeler of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Christopher Gallegos, Jasmine Gallegos, and Gabriella Barber; Parents, Chester and Pat Sanders; two sisters, Tammy (Jason) Chapman, and Vanessa Freeman both of Smithville; brother, Jeffery (Courtney) Sanders of Smithville.

Pallbearers included: Terry Reeder, Tony Reeder, Bruce Neal, Brian Neal, Jeff Sanders, and Stevie Reeder.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
