Mr. Wiley Roy Jones, Jr. age 90 of Liberty passed away Friday night, August 26, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was born July 23, 1926 to his parents, the late Wiley Roy and Ocie Oakley Jones, Sr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Lee Carter. Wiley Roy is survived by his wife of 70 years, Patsy Jones of Liberty; daughter, Carolyn (Donnie) Spann of Dickson; 2 granddaughters, Carla Spann of Bellevue and Keri (Joel) Howell of White Bluff; 1 great-granddaughter, Greta Howell; 1 nephew, Mason (Pam) Carter of Liberty.

Wiley Roy was a farmer, retired construction worker and member and deacon of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, August 29, 2016 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel.

Bro. Richard Buckner, Bro. Mark Smartt and Donnie Spann officiated with burial following in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers included; Jackie Stubb, Steve Johnson, Bobby Reynolds, Mason Carter, Bennie Curtis, and Clark Oakley.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
