William H "Red" Clark

William H. "Red" Clark, age 85, of Smithville passed away Friday, September 2, 2022 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER. 

He was a boat mechanic and owned Red & Alan's Marine for many years. 

He was born June 11, 1937 in DeKalb County, to his parents, the late James Harvey and Dovie Myrtle Miller Clark.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Herman Clark; two children, Alan Clark and Vickey Jordan; two grandchildren, Billy Clark and Brian Clark; three brothers, Albert Neal, Luther Neal and Tom Neal. 

He is survived by two sons, Billy Clark of Sparta and David Clark of Smithville; six grandchildren, Joseph Clark, Russell Clark, Dakota Clark, Leah Clark, Wesley Jordan and Morgan Clark; eight great-grandchildren, Colby Clark, Caden Clark, Matthew Florida, Billy Clark, Conner Clark, Lyren Clark, Arya Adcock, Jezzy Adcock; two sisters, Mary Certain of Smithville and Eline Pepper of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews also survive. 

The family has honored Mr. Red's request to be cremated and no services are planned at this time. 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, is in charge of the arrangements.
