William Lloyd Billings, age 80, of Baxter passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Signature Healthcare in Putnam County. He was of the Christian faith. Lloyd owned and operated Billings Crane Service.

He was born on September 15, 1938 in DeKalb County to the late William Richard Clyde and Ora Mae (Mahan) Billings.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clara (Dunn) Billings; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jessie and Sam Dunn; beloved sister-in-law, Margie Hickey; beloved sons, David Eugene and Daniel Lloyd Billings; grandson, Anthony Billings; two brothers, John Anson and Joel David Billings.

Survivors include his son, Donald Curtis Billings; daughter-in-law, Rene Billings; brother and sister-in-law, Berle (Mamie) Billings; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue (Bill) Dearman, Loretta Sharritts, Rebecca Lorance Tucker, Elizabeth (Marvin) Napier, Kaye (David) Fedak, Sharon (Chris) Hargrove, Sarah Billings; sister-in-law, Susan Billings; grandchildren and spouse, Christoper (Carrie) Billings, Joshua Billings, Andrew Billings, and Alesha Billings; 16 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Bro. Donnie Agee officiated with burial following in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Grandsons, family and friends served as pallbearers.

Whitson Funeral Home, Cookeville, was in charge of the arrangements.
