Micheal  passed away  Sept., 6 at his home. He was a loving young man and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Carthage. Michael loved music, was a beautiful singer and played the guitar. He played sports in high school and was a three sport letterman playing basketball, baseball and golf. He loved his daughter so much and she had been the major impact of his life. She would always ask for him before bedtime and they would tell each other they loved each other and then she would say a prayer for her “ daddy.” Michael loved the outdoors, camping fishing, hunting and especially working in his garden. He was a baptist and many people would be surprised at what he knew concerning the bible and his faith  that he had in Jesus Christ. He loved people and especially his family while living with them some 34 years. Closeness was his belief. He always said he was a “ momma’s boy” and a “ daddy’s buddy.”
Mr. Bilyeu is survived by his daughter, Serenity Faith Bilyeu; and his parents “Mickey” William Bilyeu Sr. and Pamela Heitt Bilyeu; sister, Amy Jent of Lafayette; and brother, Ryan Kirby and wife Denise of Lascasass; and  uncle and aunt, Larry and Donna Heitt  of Lascasass.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Christine Bilyeu and Fred and Mabel Heitt; and an uncle, Fred Heitt, Jr.
