Ervin

McMinnville, TN resident and DeKalb County, TN native William Paul Ervin, age 71, was born September 15, 1945 and died December 4, 2016 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.

A retired union stewart/assembly department with Carrier Corporation, he was the son of the late Robert Allen and Delcie Bain Ervin.

He is survived by Sandra Hillis of McMinnville; three sisters and brother-in-law, Linda and Charles Toney Fults of McMinnville, Emma Poss of McMinnville and Janet Neal of Smithville, TN; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2016 in Mt. View Cemetery with Joseph Atkins officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday at High's.
