Funeral services for Danny Williams, 68, of Hartsville were on Aug. 8 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.

Bro. Randall Teat and Ralph Vaughn officiated, with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.

He passed away Aug. 5 at Sumner Regional Medical Center.

He was of the Methodist Faith, a retired RN at VA Hospital in Nashville, and a US Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyal Chester Williams and Gladys Smith Williams Curtis and Step-Father, Warren B. Curtis.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Willa Dean Givens Williams of Hartsville; three children, Ivie Williams Pulliam of MS, Ashley and John Hearn of LA and Andy and Colby Williams of MS; one step-son, Jason and Leanne Cook of Bethpage; seven grandchildren, and one step-grandchild; sister, June and Ralph Vaughn of Murfreesboro; brother, Lenny and Jean Williams of Greenbrier; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Pallbearers included; Norman Young, Benny Williams, David Givens, Lee Teat, Jeremy Brewer, John Eaton, and Jerry Poss.
