Willie Hazel Taylor Johnson, age 86, of Smithville passed away Monday February 7, 2022 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville. 

 She was born November 29, 1935 to her parents, the late Columbus and Clara Colwell Young.  She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. 

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Dan C. Taylor and Cecil Johnson; sisters, Kelly Young, Audrey Harris; brother, James Leonard Young. 

 She is survived by son, Anthony Mark Taylor of Smithville; daughter, Cherri Murphy of Florida; grandchildren, Daniel J. Taylor of Smithville, Cody Brandon Murphy of Murfreesboro; 2 Great Grandchildren; Great Niece: Rhonda (Tim) Young of Smithville; sister-in-law, Helen Taylor (Jim) Cook of Liberty; several friends at church also survive.   DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.  

 Funeral service was held Friday, February 11, 2022 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Ric Lee and Mike Carpenter officiating. Burial followed in Adcock Cemetery.

 Pallbearers included Eddie Fuson, Zach Fuson, Tim Young, Darrel Spencer, Mike Mooneyham, and Tim Cantrell. Honorary pallbearers were Jackie Rigsby, Wayne Fuson, and Carlon Mabe.

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
