Funeral services for Wilma Lucille Wall, 89, native of Smithville and formerly of Bowling Green, Ky., were held Nov. 28 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Don Davidson officiated with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Wall passed away Nov. 25 at her daughter’s residence. She was a homemaker and affiliated with the State Street United Methodist Church in Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hobert and Eva Mai Robinson Curtis and husband Bob Wall.
Survivors include her son and daughter Jim (Julia) Wall and Jan Alexander, both of Smithville; three grandchildren John (Heather) Wall of Kentucky, Jenny (Doug) Lynch of Florida and Daniel Alexander of Virginia; three great-grandchildren Chase and Cole Wall of Kentucky and Sarah Lynch of Florida; a sister Bobbie Barnett of Georgia; and two sisters-in-law Ruth Redmon and JoAnn Wall, both of Smithville. She was dearly loved by her many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included Jim and John Wall, Daniel, Jim and Tommy Alexander, Doug Lynch, Phillip and Michael Barnett.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
