Funeral services for Wilma Oleda Magness, 90, of Smithville were held June 19 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. David Mahan officiated with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Magness passed away the morning of June 16 at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville. She was a member of the Whorton Springs Baptist Church, a retired factory worker and Home Interior displayer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Estill and Cilla Mae Vaughn Judkins; her step-mother, Lena Judkins; her husband, Gene Magness; a son-in-law, Roger Foster; and grandsons, Todd, Terry, and Chad Foster. Survivors include her two children Priscilla Foster of Smithville and Randall (Joy) Magness of San Leon, Texas; four grandchildren Jeff (Betty) Foster, Dionndra Foster, Daniel Magness and Whitt Magness; step-grandchildren Sarah (Andrew) Shuff and Jacob (Kellie) Ward; great-grandchildren Alicia and Dominic Rodriguez and Matthew Foster; step- great-grandchildren Michael Shuff and Wesley Walker; two great-great-grandchildren Avah Grace and Jaylon Rodriguez; and a sister June Carter of Smithville. Pallbearers included Kenneth Magness, Kenneth Pinegar, Bud Taylor, Timmy Foutch, Terry Carter and Jeff Foster DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
