When you speak as a Christian.... if you are a Preacher, Plumber, or Politician Do not expect the world to stand and applaud your words.. The devils crowd did not respect your Lord.. why should they hold your words in high esteem and respect them.. any more than they did when Jesus spoke.....

Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

When a Christian stands and shares his faith he is much more likely to hear the words "crucify Him" echo through the crowd than he is to hear people speak in agreement and warm welcome.. Ask people like Tim Tebow.....

Any person who is a candidate for public office today is very likely to be rejected by the world, if he talks about his faith in Jesus Christ with conviction and a testimony of having been born again and being saved from sin.. Why... The world simply doesn't want to hear that.. no more than they did when Jesus talked..

Time to realize something Christian Friends.. This country has changed greatly in the past few decades .. At one time in America you would have been respected for being a genuine Christian.. It is no longer that way..

You can now expect scorn and contempt from the world. actually it has become more like it was in the days of the early church.. The ungodly pagan world around them hated and despised them.. What we face today is nothing new for Christians..

In the United States we went through many generations in which being a committed Christian was approved.. We have now returned to the situation which was very prevalent even in Bible days.. Now we will see how the modern church reacts.. Will it make us stronger or will it force the church to become even more silent as it has in many of the European Countries.. We shall soon know the answer to this question.. Christian.. where will you take your stand.. Will you speak up for Jesus or will you try to quietly disappear somewhere in the crowd..

When ungodly men both inside and outside the church walls start to call right wrong and wrong right.. what will you say..
