Now let me see if I have understood this all correctly. We are arming the Syrian rebels to fight the Syrian government under Assad, and Russia is arming the Syrian government to fight Isis, and now they are asking the United States to help them arm the Syrian government to fight Isis..

Now, I make no claim to be an expert on much of anything.. but around Needmore where I grew up, if the Joneses were fighting the Smiths.. and the Smiths were fighting the Johnsons.. and the Johnsons were fighting everybody in sight.. That would sound a lot like a circular battle with nobody really knowing who they needed to be shooting at..

Is it about time we did the sensible thing and got out of there and let them have it? That is what their own people are doing by the thousands.

What, then is our official foreign policy toward that countrywhere we once drew a red line in the sand? Does anyone really know? And if we bring their refugees over here are we bringing the Smiths, the Joneses, the Johnsons, Isis.. Or does anyone really know? And whose fault is it?

Bush’s fault? Obama’s fault? Or is it really our own fault for being so easily deceived by lying politicians?

I am still undecided about who I might vote for in the next presidents election, but if God will help me understand if there is anyone out there who could straighten these kind of messes out, I would sure vote for them.

Yes, I am a simple man with a simple mind, but it seems to me that I can remember a time when God was welcome in America, and when our country had an understanding of who we were and where we needed to stand and what we needed to stand for.. Now people ambush cops, kill babies, men marry men and women marry women..

Men abandon their children.. grandparents raise the children.. most just decide to shack up together and don’t even bother to marry.. and when they do, quickly find a reason to divorce..

Could our confusion possibly be connected to the fact that we no longer seem to have time for God in America? God help us...
