Dry Creek Flashes - Remember those in nursing home

The big news around is school starting.  It is hard to believe how fast the summer vacation time goes by.  Please remember to watch out for those buses.  Thank you to everyone that came out to the Education Celebration school supplies give away.  It is wonderful to know how much our community supports each family and teacher.  We pray everyone has a safe and productive school year.

Everything is back to normal around here since Buddy and Deborah Fuson went back home to Arizona.  All the caregivers are back from their time off and the Cripps’ have returned from their conference in Florida.

We have been canning some beans Lisa picked at Danny Agee’s garden.  They will be good this winter with some mashed potatoes and cornbread.  Thank you Danny and Deborah for sharing with our family.

Please remember those in the nursing home:  Kim Hale Robbins, Susan Braswell, Roberta Robinson, Ronnie Cook, Elese Estes, Albert Corley, Claymon Cantrell, Jimmy Keith’s mom, Bobbye Thomas, Nonnie Tramel, and the staff that cares for them.  It is good to hear reports of some progressing nicely with their therapy. God Bless them all.

Remember to support the new business folks starting up in our county.  We see many pictures the Chamber of Commerce, Suzanne Williams, puts in the paper.  I am sure it takes a lot of money to rent a building and stock it for the public.   Thank you Suzanne for keeping us updated with all the happening around DeKalb.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10
