It is good to be back home after spending three days with the Kimbrell family in their beautiful home on Old Mill Hill. We enjoyed watching the deer and chipmunks play outside through their big back windows. While visiting, the Kimbrells hosted Sunday lunch for the Frazier family. Everyone enjoyed their fish grilled or fried to perfection. The strawberry cheesecake and cupcakes added a final touch to a wonderful meal. Thank you Jimmy and Judy for your hospitality, we hope to visit again soon.
David and Monica Reynolds and children, Levi and Molly, are in the process of moving into their new home. It has been a long time in the building state, but from the pictures it looks amazing. We pray they have many happy, healthy years in their new country home. We know their children will enjoy many adventures exploring the land.
Jimmy and Becky Womack from Smithville, and Brenda Wittinghill, from Athens, West Virginia, recently visited me. It is always good to see these dear friends. Come back and visit again when you can.
Gail Thompson, Brush Creek, attended the Iris Festival in Lebanon again this year. Gail has many beautiful Iris plants, which she is good to share a bouquet with your writer when they are in bloom. Thank you Gail for being so thoughtful.
Bro. Donald Owen brought a lovely, elegant bouquet of orchids last Wednesday night. Their beauty is unbelievable. The deep color and perfect structure is amazing to look at. We have enjoyed viewing them from across the room. Thank you for thinking of my love for these beautiful flowers.
We hope everyone had a blessed Mother’s Day. I couldn’t help but reflect on my mother, Elizabeth Ladd Keyt, a pastor’s wife. She has gone on to live with the Lord for many years, but I will be forever be thankful for her deep teaching of the bible and church work. She did some amazing needle work with tatting, knitting, and crocheting. Many of her pieces have survived these long years to be displayed in the homes of some of her granddaughters. I too am thankful to have been a mother to seven wonderful children. Our home stress God, family and education. Each of our children have gone on to become parents, and now most of their children are parents too. It is a beautiful circle of life. God has blessed the Fraizer family with much love. May is a beautiful month, so get out and enjoy God’s beautiful outdoors.
