Letter to the Editor

This letter is in response to our conversation about some things that greatly concern me and should concern anyone that is an American citizen.

It is my opinion that if we are not cautious and diligent about the people we elect as our congress and senate, our beloved country will destroy itself from within. I believe we have let congress and senate go rampant. Term limits should have been voted in and enforced. That way, neither party could take over things as if the people who voted them in, didn’t matter or have a say so. If you think they care or respect the voter, either party, try to call their offices and ask to speak to them, not one of their staff.

I love Smithville, my USA, and I am very proud to be an American! We are a blessed nation. Our forefathers fought and died for the freedom we have today. My prayers are, that we hold to the values and morals that were instilled in us.

P.S. Our nation is at stake! Wake up!
