9U and Coach Pitch end season with late games

The 9U Machine Pitch League and the Junior Coach Pitch League each ended their season with a few extra games played on June 30.

 

In 9U action, the Sawdusters battled the Diamonds in a game where the Diamonds shone bright.

 

For the Sawdusters, Madison Dawson, Ava Helton, and Briahna Murphy each had one run. Adrianna Bata had a double in the game, while Murphy had a triple.

 

Kenlee Taylor and Morgan Walker each had one run for the Diamonds, while Aniston Farler, Bella France, Aly Griffith, Madison Martin, and Kennedy Polk each had two. Shayla Kirby had three runs. Annabella Dakas, Kirby, and Walker each had a double, while France, Griffith, and Martin each had two. Polk had a triple.

 

The Diamonds got the 14-3 victory.

 

In Junior Coach Pitch action, the Bandits played the Chargers in a big game.

 

Rickey Bullard, Kolby Slager, and Danny Van Dyne each had one run for the Bandits, while Luke Johnson, Ryan Lyons, and Aiden Taylor each had two. Gracin South had three runs. Lyons and Slager each had a double, Taylor had two doubles, and Johnson had three. Lyons also had a triple, while South had a homerun.

 

For the Chargers, Bryson Arnold, Laura Magness, and Luke Midgett each had one run. Arnold had a double while Midgett and Midgett each had two doubles.

 

The Bandits won, 13-3.

 

The Law Hawks took on the Manipulators that same day, with the Law Hawks coming out on top.

 

For the Law Hawks, Paityn Barnes, Savory Brown, Kiece Hannah, Maria Little, and Haylie Washer each had one run. Mackenzie Neal, Sydeney Polk, and Sarah White each had three runs. Hannah, Neal, Washer, and White each had a double, while Little had two. White also had a triple in the game.

 

Samuel Banks, Hunter Buchanan, Jon Hendrix, Bradon Lawson, Jacob Lawson, Aaron Maple, Ian Smith, Ethan White, and Kollin Young each had one run for the Manipulators. Buchanan, Hendrix, Maple, and Smith each had a double.

 

The Law Hawks got the 14-9 win.

 

The Titans faced the Legal Beagles that day, with the Beagles getting a shutout.

 

For the Legal Beagles, Isaac Hannah and Bryna Pelham each had one run, while Austin Vickers had two. Cale Brown, Peyton Guess, and Katherine Vickers each had three runs. Brown, Hannah, and Redmon each had a double, while Vickers had three doubles. Pelham and Vickers each had a triple.

 

The Legal Beagles got the 13-0 win.

 

The Legal Eagles faced the Mustangs that evening.

 

For the Mustangs, Raylie Cowan had one run, while Cali Agee, Blaine Atnip, and Madison Byars each had two. Devin Fish and Zayleigh Washer each had three runs. Hayden Lincoln had a double, while Atnip had a triple. Averie McMinn had two triples in the game, while Fish had two homeruns.

 

The Mustangs took the 16-1 victory.
