ATV and Mini-Tractor Pull draws Friday night crowd

Mini-tractors with motorcycle engines, four-cylinder engines, and even V-8s took to the track Friday evening during the ATV and Mini-Tractor Pull.

With the demolition derby not returning to the DeKalb County Fair this year, the Friday-night main event fell to the ATV and Mini Tractor Pull. The crowds weren’t disappointed with the mini machines proving their toughness. 
In the 4-Wheeler classes, several local participants wowed the crowds. In the 0-500cc  4X4 class (weighing 1,000lbs), Dusty Dewrell took first place, with Rick Stewart taking second and Dustin Billings coming in third.
In the 501-700cc 4X4 class (weighing 1,100 lbs), Edwin Bogle came in first place, while Jeff Reynolds took second and Rick Stewart came in third.
Alan Harris took first place in the 70lcc and up class (weighing 1,150 lbs).
In the Mini Rod - V8 Motor classes, several winners were named.  For the 850-pound class, Brandon Cook took first place, with Michael Cook taking second, and Stan Ryan getting third. 
For the 1,900 pound class, Brandon Cook came in first, while David Sneed was second and Allen Norwood was third. 
Jimmy Cook took first place in the 2,050 pound class,, Allen Norwood was second, and Brandon Cook third.
In the Mini-Outlaw classes, Jerry Rupcke took first place in the 750cc (weighing 1,250 lbs), while Evan Anderson came in second, and Adam Montgomery took third. 
In the Big Motor/Small Tire 1150cc class (weighing 1,300 lbs), Terry Tilghman was first, Kim Wetthington second, John Waldrop third, and Jerry Rupcke fourth. 
For the Light Outlaw class (weighing 1,350 lbs), Evan Anderson came in first, Johnny Traughber was second, and Allen Douglas third. 
Evan Anderson came in first in the Heavy Outlaw class (weighing 1,400 lbs), while Allen Douglas took second, and John Waldrop came in third.
