The DeKalb Junior Coach Pitch League has had games underway over the past few weeks, with the future of baseball taking the field. There’s been some exciting games played, with several players getting hits and runs.
On May 20, the Judkins & Slager Law Hawks faced off with the DeKalb Funeral Chapel Titans, with the Titans getting a big win.
For the Law Hawks, Maria Little and Sarah White each scored, with Little getting two runs and White touching home once. Kiece Hannah had a double, while White had a homerun.
The scoreboard lit up for the Titans, with Jordyn Agee, Drew Cook, Kinsley Savage, and Kylee Savage each getting one run, while Avery Agee, Maddox Hale, and Tucker Webb got two. Caroline Crook had three runs.  Crook and Jakayta Odom each had a double, while Agee, McKenna Miller, and Webb each had a triple. Agee and Hale each had a homerun.
The Titans won 13-3.
That same day, Kilgores Tigers met the Hannah Law Legal Beagles in a close high-scoring game.
Carliegh Beckham, Mason Taylor, and Zackary Taylor each had one run for the Tigers, while Martin Coronado and Jaxson Panker each had two. Kora Kilgore and Alex Lemons each touched home three times. Coronado and Lemons had doubles, while Lemons, Taylor and Taylor each had a triple. Coronado and Lemons also each had a homerun.
For the Legal Beagles, Byrna Pelham and Katherine Vickers each had one run, while Cale Brown, Isaac Hannah, and Austin Vickers each had two runs. Peyton Guess had three runs. Dylan Cathey, Pelham, and Vickers each had a double, while Hannah had a double and a triple. Guess and Vickers each had a homerun.
The Tigers took the victory, 13-11.
The Liberty State Bank Mustangs played the Davis Auto Body Bandits that same day in yet another close game.
Raylie Cowan and Hayden Marrow each had one run for the Mustangs, while Cali Agee, Blaine Atnip, and Zayleigh Washer each had two. Hayden Lincoln abd Devin Fish each had three runs. Atnip had a double, while Fish had three doubles.  Marrow and Lincoln each had a double and a single, while Lincoln also took a homerun.
For the Bandits, Evan Prichard and Gracin South each touched home, while Rickey Bullard, Canaan Johnson, and Kolby Slager each had two runs. William Blair, Luke Johnson, and Aiden Taylor each had three runs. Johnson and Slager each had a double, while Taylor had a double and a triple. Johnson also scored a homerun, while Taylor had two.
The Bandits came out on top, 17-14.
The Johnson Chiropractic Manipulators faced the Sideline Talk Chargers that day, with the Chargers taking a commanding win.
Samuel Banks, Jon Hendrix, and Jamison Hooper each had a run for the Manipulators, while Ian Smith and Kollin Young each scored twice. Banks and Hunter Buchanan each had a double in the game, while Smith had a triple. Hendrix and Hooper each had a homerun.
For the Chargers, Izaydah Dowell and Logan Duke each had one run, with Seth Cardin getting two. Bryson Arnold, Landon Colwell, and Luke Midgett each had three runs. Arnold and Colwell each had a double, while Cardin, Duke, and Midgett each had a triple. Colwell had a homerun, while Midgett had two.
The Chargers won, 13-7.
On May 27, another round of games were played. First off, the Tigers took on Vester Parsley’s Legal Eagles.
Carleigh Beckham, Martin Coronado, Nicholas Daw, Keara Milligan, Mason Taylor, and Aiden Turner each had one run for the Tigers, while Kora Kilgore, Alex Lemons, and Zackary Taylor each had two. Jaxson Panker had three runs. Beckham, Daw, Panker, and Turner each had a double, while Kilgore had a triple. Mason Taylor had one homerun, while Lemons, Panker, and Zackary Taylor each had two.
For the Legal Eagles, Chaylea Lunsford and J.T. Summers each had one run. Kobe Curtis and Lunsford each had a double, while Summers had a triple.
The Tigers came away with a big win, 15-2.
The Bandits battled the Titans that same day, with the Bandits taking a victory.
Ryan Lyons and Gracin South each had one run for the Bandits, while William Blair, Kolbu Slager, and Aiden Taylor each had two. Luke Johnson had three runs. Blair, Robbie Knox, South, and Taylor each had a double, while Johnson had two. Lyons had a homerun.
For the Titans, Caroline Crook, Maddox Hale, and Kylee Savage each touched home plate, while Tucker Webb had three runs. McKenna Miller, Jakayta Odom, Savage, and Webb each had a double, while Avery Agee had three doubles. Hale had a triple.
The Bandits won, 11-6.
The Legal Beagles were back in action, taking on the Mustangs in a close game.
Cale Brown, Dylan Cathey, and Isaac Hannah, each had one run for the Legal Beagles, while Peyton Guess and Austin Vickers each had two. Bryna Pelham and Katherine Vickers each had three runs. Brown, Cathey, Hannah, and Vickers each had a double in the game, while Vickers also had a triple.
Blaine Atnip, Raylie Cowan, Hayden Lincoln and Zayleigh Washer each had one run for the Mustangs, while Madison Byars, Jaylie Cowan, Hayden Marrow, and Mason Neely each had two. Devin Fish crossed home three times. Cowan had a double, Atnip a triple, and Fish a homerun.
The Mustangs squeaked by for the 15-13 victory.
On May 30, the Chargers and Mustangs took to the field in what would be another win for the Stangs.
Bryson Arnold, Landon Colwell, Elijah Crook, and Luke Midgett each had a run for the Chargers.
Hayden Marrow, Jaylie Cowan, and Averie McMinn each had one run for the Mustangs, with Blaine Atnip and Raylie Cowan coming in with two runs. Madison Byars had three runs, while Devin Fish and Zayleigh Washer each had four.
The Stangs won big, 18-4.
That same day, the Legal Beagles took on the Legal Eagles in the battle of the law offices.
Isaac Hannah, Bryna Pelham, and Emmalee Redmon each had one run for the Beagles, while Dylan Cathey, Peyton Guess, Bradley Pelham, Austin Vickers, and Katherine Vickers each had two. Cale Brown had three runs.
For the Eagles, Kobe Curtis had one run. Leah Davis and Chaylea Lunsford each had a double.
The Beagles took the win, 16-1.
The Tigers faced the Titans, with the Titans showing some muscle.
Martin Coronado and Mason Taylor each had a run for the Tigers, while Carleigh Beckham, Kora Kilgore, and Alex Lemons each had doubles. Taylor had a triple.
Avery Agee, Nathan Grubb, and McKenna Miller each had a run for the Titans, with Drew Cook, Maddox Hale, and Jakayta Odom each had two. Caroline Crook and Tucker Webb each had three. Crook had a double, while Agee and Hale each had a double and a triple. Webb had two doubles and a triple, while Odom had a double and a homerun.
The Titans got the win, 15-2.
The Manipulators took on the Bandits that same day, with the Bandits getting another win.
Jon Hendrix and Kollin Young each had a run for the Manipulators, while Jamison Hooper and Ian Smith each had two. Hunter Buchanan and Young each had a double, while Smith had two doubles. Hooper had a double and a triple.
Evan Prichard had one run for the Bandits, with Canaan Johnson and Aiden Taylor each had two. Luke Johnson, Ryan Lyons, Kolby Slager, and Gracin South each had three runs. Lyons and Slager each had two doubles, while Robbie Knox, Prichard, and South each had a triple. South and Taylor each had a homerun.
