Junior Coach Pitch action was hot and heavy last week with some blowout games.
On June 18, the DeKalb Funeral Chapel Titans met the Hendrix Law Defenders in a game with some big hitting from the Titans.
Maddox Hale, Kylee Savage, and Skylar Savage each had one hit for the Titans, while Kole Kangas, Paul Oliver, Kinsley Savage, Tucker Webb, and Briar Williams each had two. Avery Agee, Wesley Kent, and Ty Webb each got three hits. Agee, Savage, and Webb each recorded doubles, while Kent and Savage had two doubles. Webb had a triple and Kangas had two triples. Webb also took two home runs in the game.
For the Defenders, Jamison Hooper, Aaron Maple, Kale Martin, and Ian Smith each had one hit while Hunter Buchanan and Connor McClure each got two. Buchanan, Maple, and Martin each had a double in the game.
The Titans won big, 20-3.
The Tenneco Bombers faced the Memorial Gardens’ Rascals in another heavy-hitting game.
Dylan Cathey, Peyton Guess, and Sam Harris each had one hit for the Bombers during play, while Madison Dawson, Peyton Saylors, and Bryson Trapp each had two. Alexander Antoniak, Seth Gibbs, Gracin South, and Martin Willingham each had three hits. Antoniak, Gibbs, Saylors, South, Trapp, and Willingham took doubles in the game, Antoniak, Saylors, and Trapp also getting triples. South had a home run.
Kolby Slager had one hit for the Rascals, while Bradley Pelham and Kolton Slager each got two. Bryna Pelham, Aiden Taylor, and Westin Wright each had three hits. Taylor had two doubles, while Wright took a triple.
The Bombers were victorious, 18-5.
The DeKalb Animal Clinic Critters took on Kilgores’ Tigers that same evening in a close game.
For the Critters, Cesar Celaya, Talan Gentry, Maria Little, and Taylor Woodard each had one hit, while Savory Brown and Sarah White each had two. Axel Aranda and Leonardo Perales each had three hits. Perales and White each recorded a double, while Aranda had two doubles. Brown had a triple, and Aranda and Celaya each had a home run.
Gaven Cool and Javen Walker each had a hit for the Tigers, while Layne Cobb, Alex Lemons, Jordan Parker, and Mason Taylor each had two. Cobb and Parker each had a double, while Lemons got two doubles. Taylor had a triple, while Cobb took a home run.
The Tigers clawed their way through for the win, 8-6.
The DCB Bucks had a huge win over the Life Credit Union Chargers that same evening, putting up a lot of points on the board.
Haven Sams had one hit for the Bucks, with Landon Colwell and Addison Hale each getting two. Ian Barnes and Jackson Mathis each had three hits, with Hunter Cannon, Carson Donnell, Brett Page, Garrison Randolph, and Gracie Randolph each getting four. Cannon, Donnell, Hale, Page, and Randolph each had a double during play, while Barnes, Mathis, and Randolph had two doubles. Donnell and Page each had a triple, with Cannon, Donnell, and Randolph each getting a home run.
For the Chargers, Luke Midgett, Zeva Robinson, and Owen Snipes each got one hit while Cale Brown, Lacey England, and Kholton Melton each had two.
England, Midgett, and Robinson each had a double, while Melton came away with two triples.
The Bucks took the win, 26-7.
On June 21, the DeKalb Funeral Chapel Titans took on the DeKalb Animal Clinic Critters in a shutout game.

Maria Little and Sarah White each had a hit for the Critters. Ellie Dillard had two hits.
The Titans took the shutout, 16-0.

Peyton Guess, Isaac Hannah, and Sam Harris each had a hit for the Bombers, while Martin Willingham had two. Alexander Antoniak, Madison Dawson, Seth Gibbs, and Gracin South each had four. Antoniak and Hannah each had a double in the game, while South had three doubles. Willingham had a good night with two home runs.
For the Tigers, Whitleigh Chapman, Gaven Cool, Jordan Parker, and Javen Walker each had one hit, while Jaxson Panker had two. Parker took a triple in the game.
The Bombers took the win, 21-4.
The Memorial Gardens’ Rascals faced the Liberty State Bank Mustangs in a much closer game.
The Rascals’ Annabella Dakas had one hit in the game, while Lilliana Vickers and Westin Wright each had two. Kolby Slager had three hits, and Andrew Dakas, Kolton Slager, Aiden Taylor, Austin Vickers, and Katherine Vickers each had four hits. Slager, Slager, Taylor, and Vickers each had a double, while Dakas and Dakas each had triples.
Hayden Lincon had one hit for the Mustangs. Katherine Knowles had three hits, and Marshall Farler had four. Farler and Knowles each had two doubles.
The Rascals came out ahead, 14-9.

Samuel Banks and Jamison Hooper each had a hit for the Defenders, while Jon Hendrix, Ian Smith, and Aidan Turner each had two. Connor McClure got three hits. McClure had a double, and Smith recorded two doubles.
