The DeKalb West School Bulldogs ended their season last week with a final game against Boyd Christian. The season ended on a good note, with the Bulldogs getting a win.
On May 3, the Bulldogs had home field against BC and the game started out slow, then opened up for the home team. Neither team scored in the first inning, but Boyd Christian took two runs in the second, while DeKalb only had one with a run by Austin Johnson.
The DWS put points on the board in the third inning, with Paxton Butler, Grayson Redmon, Derek Fish, John Maynard, Johnson, Colter Norris, and Brady Driver each touched home plate.
BC scored two more times, but it would not be enough. The Bulldogs took the win, 8-4.
