Bulldogs get two wins, one loss

The DeKalb West School Bulldogs were back on the diamond last week, coming away with a couple of wins and one loss.
On Mar. 19, the Bulldogs were at home where they faced off with Winfree Bryant. 
Colter Norris would get DWS on the board first in the first inning, but Winfree Bryant would have the game tied going into the second. Grayson Redmon, Paxton Butler, and Austin Johnson touched home in the second inning, while Redmon scored again in the third inning. Butler, Seth Whaley, and Derek Fish topped off the score for the Bulldogs in the fourth inning. WB would score once more in the fifth, but it would not be enough. The Bulldogs took the win, 8-2.
Whaley had two doubles in the game, while Butler, Norris, Fish, Hall, and Redmon each had a single. Norris was the winning pitcher. DWS had eight runs on seven hits, and two errors.
The following day, the team was on the road, taking on Cannon County.
Cannon got on the board first, getting a run in the second inning, but Butler, Colter Norris, and Whaley would take the lead for the Bulldogs in the third inning. Cannon narrowed the score with a run in the third, but Brady Driver and Luke Oliver came back in the fourth, each touching home plate.
Cannon would not go away, and tied the score in the fourth, but Butler scored again for DWS in the sixth, and Driver added to the tally in the seventh. The Bulldogs came away with the victory, 7-5.
Butler had three singles in the game, while Driver had a double. Fish, Isaac Hall, Redmon, and Oliver each had a single. Redmon was the winning pitcher, with relief by Driver, Norris, and Hall. DeKalb had seven runs on eight hits, and five errors.
On Mar. 21, the Bulldogs were again on the road, this time at Warren County.
Warren took the early lead, scoring three runs in the first inning, and would never let go of it. They would score again in the second, and get three more runs in the fifth.
Redmon touched home for DWS in the second inning and Driver in the fifth. Warren got the win, 7-2.
Butler, Fish, and Hall each had a single in the game, while Whaley had a double and a single. John Maynard was the losing pitcher. The Bulldogs had two runs on six hits, with no errors, while Warren had seven runs on eight hits, and seven errors.
