Busy Week In Little League Action

In Major League action on Monday, May 17, Webbs Pharmacy had a double header. In the first game they were defeated by Roberts Ice 11-5. They then went on to drop the second half of the double header to Center Hill Marine by the score of 8-5.

 

Thursday night saw Center Hill Marine drawing the twin bill. They managed to defeat Webbs Pharmacy 12-2 in the first game but were beaten by Roberts Ice 8-2 in the nightcap.

 

On Friday evening the single Major League game matched A+ Heating & Cooling against A Degree Above Heating and Cooling in the Air Conditioner Bowl. A+ took the win in a close one, 12-10.

 

  Ean Jones and David Martinez had multiple hit games this week.

 

In Minor League games on Tuesday, A+ Heating & Cooling bested Rice Services 10-1 in the opener. Then Insta Cash downed Davis Auto Body 6-4 in the second game.

 

The minor League also had a Friday contest where Davis Auto body nipped Rice services 11-10. Paul Oliver had 2 hits for Davis Auto Body.

 

Senior Coach Pitch also had a full slate of action this week. On Monday Liberty State Bank defeated K & M Jewelry 11-5. Then Southern Landscape Supply beat Wilson Bank & Trust 17-4. On Thursday evening K & M Jewelry lost to Southern Landscape Supply 15-5. Later, Liberty State Bank beat Wilson Bank & Trust 14-11. Those with multiple hit games were; Silas Kirksey, Logan & Lance Duke, Anderson Fortner, Matthew Lasser, Anthony Moore, Elliot Barnes, Preston Taylor, Nick Murphy, Nickolas Daw, Victor Gillihan, and Chase Young.
