DeKalb County High School’s Kayley Caplinger was honored Friday night as the newest member of the 106-9 Kicks Country Hall Of Fame honoring outstanding student athletes across the Upper Cumberland. Caplinger, a member of the DeKalb County Tiger softball team, received a plaque Friday Night during the Kicks Country • Lite Rock • Rock • News Talk Football Friday Tailgate Party prior to kickoff. The award, presented by Cookeville’s Sam’s Club, recognizes outstanding student athletes who also perform in the classroom, in the community, and in a leadership role within the student body.
