I hope everyone had a wonderful July 4, 2020. There were plenty of fireworks to see and many people went to the lake. I stayed home this year and spent time with family. My neighbors, Angie and Wil Meadows, Brandon Rackley, entertained me with fireworks.

The vegetables are overflowing now. Mark and Kim Violet have been giving me squash and zucchini and they are wonderful everything from the garden taste so much better. I also got some cucumbers and squash from Alex Lemons “Farmer Brown” after church yesterday Alex set a box of each out for anyone that wanted some that was so nice of him. Alex is a teenager, who planted, tills and takes care of his own garden not many teenagers can say that today. I am so proud of him.

I know a lot of people have been to the beach this past week. And now they are starting to close some of them back down. We have got to wear our masks and stay home as much as possible. With a the television news saying one thing and changing to another, the best thing for us to do is protect ourselves and our family by using extreme caution.

This is my opinion only the monuments that are been destroyed and painted on is a shame. The monuments have been here a long time and if they were that harmful or demeaning the monuments would have been destroyed a long time ago. This generation has nothing to do with anything that has happened 200 years ago.

Please be in prayer for the sick and the families that have lost loved ones.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house there are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you. I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And wither I go ye know, and the way ye know. John 14:1-4
