The DCHS baseball team fell twice to Central Magnet last week, with a 3-1 loss and an 8-0 rout on Tuesday in Murfreesboro. The first game was a close contest until the end, with DeKalb maintaining a 1-0 advantage until the bottom of the sixth inning, when CM rallied for two runs on a DeKalb error, then added another to take the win. In a defensive battle, Logan Cornelius, Brady Hughes, Colter Norris, Jacob Self, and John Maynard hit a single each for DeKalb, while Cornelius added a double.
