She’s at it again. After finishing strong last season, local golf prodigy Anna Chew has set the tone for the season, finishing second at the Early Bird Tournament in Cookeville.
She finished at three-over-par, shooting a
73, four strokes behind winner, Hannah Ball of Cleveland who finished with a 68
after getting on fire after the turn, birdying the last six holes.
The finish was four strokes better than her third place showing last year when she shot a 77 in the same early bird tournament on the Golden Eagle Golf Course.
Jadyn Young shot a 90 for the Tigers while Justin Washing carded a 103 in the tournament which featured 71 golfers from 14 schools.
