Close games in 12U Girls Machine Pitch

The 12U Girls Machine Pitch League has been playing some close games over the past weeks.
On May 12, the J&S Construction Crushers faced off with the Four Seasons Boat Storage Sharks in a game that would be decided by one point.
For the Crushers, Kaitlyn Cantrell, Katie Colwell, Broklynn Estes, Abbi Taylor, and Brooklyn Wilson each had one run. Madison Rackley had two. Alexis Atnip, Kaitin Bain, Rackley, Taylor, and Wilson each had a double in the game.
Lydia Brown, Emme Colwell, Joni Robinson, Kiley Staley, and Megan Walker each had a run for the Sharks. Walker had a double, while Brown had a triple.
The Crushers got the close win, 7-6.
On May 15, the Crushers were on the field again, this time against the Dairy Queen Shakers.
Kaitlin Bain, Sarah Colwell, and Madison Rackley each scored a run, while Broklynn Estes and Brooklyn Wilson each had two. Wilson had two doubles.
For the Shakers, Jadyn Dawson, and Paxton Dawson each had a run. Cook had a double, while Dawson had a double and triple.
The Crushers took the victory, 7-2.
On May 19, Southland Fountain played the Sharks, with the Sharks getting a win.
For Fountain, Brookelyn Davis, Natalie Fountain, and Margaret Josey each got a run.
Emme Colwell, Dasia Gurley, Joni Robinson, Kessie Robinson, and Savannah White each got a run for the Sharks, while Lydia Brown, Macey Lassiter, and Megan Walker each had two. Robinson and Walker each had a double, while Walker and Brown each had a homerun.
The Sharks won, 12-3.
That same day, the Goldstar Avengers took on the Shakers.
For the Avengers, Jordan Bender, Madesta Berry, Gracie Dungy, Meaghan Nix, Keydra Reed, and Nealie Ropp each had a run, while Jade Hunter had two. Bender and Hunter each had a double, while Reed had a homerun.
For the Shakers, Maddie Cook, Jadyn Dawson, Makayla Kirby, Keirstine Robinson, and Stevee Webster each had a run, while Justice Dawson and Myla Dilligard each had two. The Dawsons, Dilligard, and Kirby each had a double in the game.
The Shakers inched past for the 9-8 victory.
