Synergy Mind & Body Studio will hold Community Classes on Sunday, Nov. 3, with all donations going to Art Round Tennessee (ART)’s annual ART Prowl event. On Synergy’s monthly Community Day, class attendees pay what they can, with 100% of the proceeds going to a specified charitable organization. Registered Yoga and Meditation Teacher Petti Groth will teach Yoga at 2 p.m., followed by guided Meditation at 3:15 p.m. Synergy community classes are open to the public and are completely donation-based.
ART Prowl is Cookeville’s annual two-day, free, mostly walkable art tour. Prowl on Friday, Nov. 15, from 12-8 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Participants can meet 50+ artists in studios, galleries, and businesses on the historic WestSide and downtown Cookeville. Synergy will be stop #6 on this year’s ART Prowl, featuring work by the CHS Emerging Artists. ART Prowl features the best art in the Upper Cumberland area plus demonstrations, kids' activities, and ART Prowl specials at local shops, cafes and pubs. ART Prowl supports local artists, businesses, and art education, integrating art into our community.
