DCHS Golf winning big

The DeKalb County High School Golf Team took on a couple of rival schools last week, with the Tigers making a strong showing for the season.
The team took on Livingston on Monday in a match played at Riverwatch Golf Course. In the match Ethan Roller shot 37, John Roller shot 41, Logan Poss shot 41, and Dylan Young shot 43. DCHS had a total of 162 against Livingston’s 173 and won by 11 shots.
For the girls, Mallory Sullivan shot a 36 even par, and Lexy Spry shot a 55, for a 91. Livingston shot a 111, giving DeKalb the win by 20.
Last week the team played Sparta at Riverwatch, a course that both teams call home. In that match Ethan Roller shot 38, John Roller shot 38, Dylan Young shot 39, and Logan Poss shot 45.  The team’s total was 160 to Sparta’s 161, with the Tigers winning by one point.
Other teams that participated were Upperman with a 190, and Gordonsville with a 184.  The DCHS team is 7-0 for the season.
