The DeKalb County High School Rodeo Team, the DCHS Cowboys, traveled to Bowling Green, KY on Oct. 26-27 for another round of competition. The team competed at Western Kentucky University at the Agricultural Center, where several members placed in various events.La-Kota Luna won second place in bull-riding competition on the first day of the event with a score of 73, Cody Hattaway took the top spot in the steer wrestling that same day, and third in team roping the following day.Shara Adcock came away with first place in breakaway roping on Saturday with a 2.9 second run, the fastest time of the weekend for that event. Victor Roller and Brandon Barnes did not get their bulls covered this weekend, coming away with no scores.
