DeKalb Jr. Pro players are preparing for a season on the gridiron. The three teams, in three different age groups, were on the practice field for the first time last week, running plays and getting used to their helmets and pads. The coaches ran some drills, sizing up their young players’ strengths and weaknesses, and what the teams needed to work on the most.

The DCHS Tigers and Head Coach Steve Trapp hosted the 2021 Jr. Pro Football Camp a couple of weeks ago, with the high school team meeting the young players and sharing some football tips.
