The DeKalb County High School Tigerettes Softball Team opened their season last week, playing two double headers and getting some big wins.On Mar. 10, the team was at home where they played their first regular season games with a double header against Jackson County. If the games are an indicator of the rest of the season, the Tigerettes are going to have a very good year.The Tigerettes came away with nine runs in the first inning alone, holding Jackson scoreless. The second inning was even better, with DeKalb getting 14 more runs, and allowing Jackson to get on the board with one.
