The DeKalb Middle School Soccer Program got its first ever win last week as the Lady Saints took a hard-fought victory. The win shows the hard work by the team and its coaches is beginning to pay off.On Sept. 10, the Lady Saints were at home as they faced Fentress County. Around five minutes into the game Lady Saints’ Sophie Hackett was awarded a penalty kick, and was able to find the goal.Fentress would come back 15 minutes later, scoring a goal of their own and tying the game, 1-1 as the half ended.
