

The DeKalb Middle School cross country team had an outstanding showing at the Dual Cross Country Meet between border rival Warren County Middle School.
Eighth graders, Ben Driver and Kaylee Kent, won the male and female division, with times of 12:42 and 15:11 for the two mile course. Sixth grader, Landon Brown, placed in the top three with a time of 14:10. Close behind him was teammate Timothy Campbell with a time of 15:49, followed by Zander Simpson 17:07.
Kent was followed by teammates Emily Fry 16:34, and Bella Franz 21:35. The two mile terrain consisted of grass, gravel and pavement.
