DWS honors eighth graders

The DeKalb West School basketball Bulldogs honored outgoing eighth-graders Thursday with a ceremony between games.

 

Basketball players recognized were:

 

• Kendra Whitehead (a Lady Bulldog basketball player for three years).

 

• Trenton Shores (a Bulldog for three years).

 

• Noah Roberts (a Bulldog for three years).

 

• Clayton Crook (a Bulldog for three years).

 

• Dallas Cook (a Bulldog for three years).

 

• Cody Antoniak (a Bulldog for three years).

 

• Braedon "The Jett" Jett (a Bulldog for three years).

 

The eighth-grade DWS cheerleaders for 2016 are;

 

• Sara Carver (a cheerleader for one year).

 

• Haley Dies (a cheerleader for three years).

 

• Holly Evans (a cheerleader for three years).

 

• Mariah Mofield (a cheerleader for two years).

 

DWS Principal Sabrina Farler introduced each eighth-grade Bulldog, and thanked them all for their commitment to the team and the time they have given to make the school a better place.
