Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (SSSH) aims to provide older adults (age 40 and over) with access to a safe, structured and effective exercise program capable of building muscle and increasing bone density, thus decreasing frailty, osteoporosis and the risk of falls. This 8 week exercise program will meet twice a week for one-hour classes. Classes will include warm up exercises, easy strengthening exercises and cool down stretches. The program is free. Equipment will be provided.
UT Family and Consumer Science Extension Agent April Martin will be the instructor for this 8 week course scheduled for Monday and Thursdays from 9 – 10:00 a.m.
