Junior Coach Pitch wraps up season

The DeKalb Junior Coach Pitch League wrapped up their season last week with games played nearly every night. 
On June 24, the DCB Bucks met Kilgores’ Tigers in a high-scoring game. 
For the Bucks, Landon Colwell, Noah Culwell, Addison Hale, and Haven Sams each got a hit, while Jackson Mathis came away with two. Ian Barnes, Hunter Cannon, Carson Donnell, Brett Page, Garrison Randolph, and Gracie Randolph each had three hits. Barnes, Colwell, and Randolph each had a double, while Page had two doubles. Randolph took a triple, while Culwell, Donnell, and Randolph each had a home run. 
Layne Cobb, Alex Lemons, Jordan Parker, and Javen Walker each had one hit for the Tigers, with Jaxson Panker getting two. Cobb, Lemons, Panker, and Parker each recorded a double in the game. 
The Bucks won big, 21-3.
That same evening the DeKalb Funeral Chapel Titans played a shut-out against the Memorial Gardens’ Rascals. 
Kinsley Savage, Kylee Savage, and Briar Williams each had one hit for the Titans, while Tucker Webb got two. Avery Agee, Maddox Hale, Wesley Kent, Paul Oliver, Skylar Savage, and Ty Webb each had three hits. Hale, Oliver, Savage, and Webb took doubles, while Agee and Webb had home runs. 
For the Rascals, Andrew Dakas, Bradley Pelham, Brayden Summers, and Aiden Taylor each had a hit, while Westin Wright, Bryna Pelham, and Kolton Slager each had two. 
The Titans took the victory, 14-0. 
The Liberty State Bank Mustangs faced the Tenneco Bombers that evening, in another lopsided game. 
For the Mustangs, Dare Collins, Marshall Farler, Hannah Hennessee, Katherine Knowles, Hayden Lincon, Sydeney Polk, and Haylie Washer each had one hit, while Blaine Atnip had two. Collins, Hennessee, Knowles, and Washer each had a double in the game.
Madison Dawson and Isaac Hannah each had a hit for the Bombers, while Sam Harris, Peyton Saylors, Gracin South, Bryson Trapp, and Martin Willingham had two.  Alexander Antoniak, Seth Gibbs, and Peyton Guess each had three hits.  Dawson, Gibbs, Guess, Saylors, and Willingham each had a double, while South had two doubles.  Trapp had two triples, and Antoniak and Gibbs each had a home run. 
The Bombers won big, 17-6. 
The DeKalb Animal Clinic Critters played the Life Credit Union Chargers in a close game.  
For the Critters, Maria Little and Taylor Woodard each had one hit, while Sarah White, Cesar Celaya, Ellie Dillard, Ronnie Edwards, and Talan Gentry each had two. Edwards and White each had a double in the game. 
Kholton Melton, Zeva Robinson, and Owen Snipes each got one hit for the Chargers, while Bryson Arnold, Lacey England, and Luke Midgett each had two. Arnold and Midgett each had a double during play. 
The Critters got the win, 6-3. 
On June 25, another round of games was played, with the DCB Bucks meeting the Tenneco Bombers in a high-scoring, yet close game. 
For the Bucks, Noah Culwell, Addison Hale, Jackson Mathis, and Haven Sams each had one hit, while Ian Barnes, Landon Colwell, and Gracie Randolph each had two. Hunter Cannon and Brett Page had three hits, while Carson Donnell and Garrison Randolph each had four. Cannon, Randolph, and Randolph each had a double, while Culwell, Donnell, and Randolph each had a triple.  Donnell and Sams recorded home runs. 
Sam Harris had one hit for the Bombers, while Dylan Cathey, Madison Dawson, Seth Gibbs, Peyton Guess, Peyton Saylors, and Bryson Trapp each had two. Alexander Antoniak, Isaac Hannah, Gracin South, and Martin Willingham each had three hits.  Antoniak, Dawson, South, Trapp, and Willingham each took a double, while Antoniak, Dawson, and Willingham also had a triple. 
The Bombers inched by with the win, 15-14. 
That same evening the Liberty State Bank Mustangs took on the Life Credit Union Chargers in yet another close game. 
Hayden Lincon and Zayleigh Washer each had one hit for the Mustangs, with Blaine Atnip, Dare Collins, and Marshall Farler each having two. Hannah Hennessee, Katherine Knowles, Sydeney Polk, and Haylie Washer each had three hits. Atnip, Collins, and Hennessee each had a double in the game. 
For the Chargers, Luke Magness, Kholton Melton, and Ethan Spears each had one hit, while Bryson Arnold, Lacey England, Luke Midgett, and Owen Snipes each had two.  England took a double in the game, while Melton had a home run.  Midgett and Snipes had a big night with each having two home runs. 
The Chargers got the win, 10-9. 
The Memorial Gardens’ Rascals faced off against the Hendrix Law Defenders that same evening. 
For the Rascals, Andrew Dakas, Bradley Pelham, Kolby Slager, and Lilliana Vickers each had one hit, while Austin Vickers and Katherine Vickers each had two. Annabella Dakas, Kolton Slager, Brayden Summers, Aiden Taylor, and Westin Wright each had three hits.  Slager, Vickers, and Wright each had a double, while Slager, Summers, and Taylor had two doubles.  Summers and Wright also recorded home runs. 
Jon Hendrix, Jamison Hooper, Connor McClure, Ian Smith, and Aidan Turner each had one hit for the Dehenders, with McClure and Turner getting doubles. 
The Rascals were victorious, 16-3. 
The DeKalb Funeral Chapel Titans came on strong with another shut-out game, this time against Kilgores’ Tigers. 
Maddox Hale had one hit for the Titans, while Kole Kangas, Skylar Savage, and Briar Williams each had two. Avery Agee, Wesley Kent, Paul Oliver, Tucker Webb, and Ty Webb each had three hits. Savage and Webb had a double in the game, with Williams getting two doubles.  Agee, Kent, and Oliver each had a triple, while Agee, Kent, Oliver, and Webb each took a home run. 
For the Tigers, Layne Cobb, Kora Kilgore, Alex Lemons, Jaxson Panker, and Jordan Parker each had one hit. 
The Titans won big, 16-0. 
On June 27, the DeKalb Animal Clinic Critters played the DCB Bucks in a big-scoring game for the Bucks. 
The Critters’ Axel Aranda, Carter Benson, Savory Brown, Cesar Celaya, and Sarah White each had one hit, with Ronnie Edwards getting two.  Brown, Edwards, and White each had a double, while Aranda had a triple. 
For the Bucks, Noah Culwell, Gracie Randolph, and Haven Sams each had one hit, while Addison Hale, Jackson Mathis, and Brett Page had two. Ian Barnes, Hunter Cannon, Landon Colwell, Carson Donnell, and Garrison Randolph each had three hits. Barnes and Sams each had a double, while Cannon had three doubles.  Randolph had a triple, and Page and Randolph each had a home run. 
The Bucks took the win, 19-3. 
The DeKalb Funeral Chapel Titans faced the Life Credit Union Chargers that same evening, with the Titans again coming away with a big victory. 
Maddox Hale and Skylar Savage each had one hit for the Titans, while Avery Agee and Briar Williams each had two. Kole Kangas, Wesley Kent, Paul Oliver, Tucker Webb, and Ty Webb each had three hits.  Savage and Williams eah had a double, while Kent had two doubles.  Webb had a triple, and Kangas and Oliver each had two triples. Agee, Kent, and Oliver had a home run, and Webb came away with two home runs. 
For the Chargers, Bryson Arnold, Lacey England, Luke Magness, and Kholton Melton each had a hit, while Luke Midgett had two.  England and Midgett had a double, with Melton and Midgett each getting a triple. 
The mighty Titans won another one, 17-3. 
The Liberty State Bank Mustangs battled Kilgores’ Tigers that evening.
For the Mustangs, Marshall Farler, Hannah Hennessee, Sydeney Polk, and Haylie Washer each had one hit, with Blaine Atnip, Katherine Knowles, and Hayden Lincon getting two. Dare Collins had three hits, all three doubles.  Knowles also had a double. 
Carleigh Beckham, Layne Cobb, and Mason Taylor each had a hit for the Tigers, while Javen Walker, Whitleigh Chapman, Gaven Cool, Kora Kilgore, Jaxson Panker, and Jordan Parker each had two. Alex Lemons got three hits.  Beckham, Cobb, Cool, and Parker each had a double, while Taylor had a triple.  Lemons had a home run. 
The finals score, Tigers 12 – Mustangs 5. 
The Tenneco Bombers had a big night as they faced the Hendrix Law Defenders. 
For the Defenders, Samuel Banks and Leah Johnson each had one hit, while Jon Hendrix and Connor McClure had two.  Hendrix and McClure each had a double. 
Madison Dawson, Isaac Hannah, Sam Harris, and Bryson Trapp each had one hit for the Bombers, with Martin Willingham, Peyton Saylors, Gracin South, Dylan Cathey, and Seth Gibbs each getting two.  Alexander Antoniak and Peyton Guess had three hits.  Dawson, Trapp, and Willingham each had a double, while Antoniak, Gibbs, and Saylors each had a triple.  Saylors had a home run, and Antoniak had two home runs. 
The Bombers took the victory, 19-1. 
On June 28, the final round of games were played, with the Memorial Gardens’ Rascals facing the Life Credit Union Chargers. 
For the Rascals, Andrew Dakas, Kolby Slager, Katherine Vickers, and Lilliana Vickers each got two hits, while Annabella Dakas, Bradley Pelham, Brayden Summers, and Austin Vickers each got three. Kolton Slager, Aiden Taylor, and Westin Wright each had four hits.  Dakas, Slager, Vickers, and Wright each had a double, while Slager, Summers, and Taylor each had a triple.  Slager and Wright also recorded home runs. 
Owen Snipes had one hit for the Chargers, while Ethan Spears, Luke Magness, Kholton Melton, and Luke Midgett each got two.  Zeva Robinson and Lacey England each had three hits.  Spears took a double, while Magness and Melton each had two doubles.  Midgett recorded two triples. 
The Rascals came away with the win, 17-10. 
The DeKalb Animal Clinic Critters played the Hendrix Law Defenders that same evening, with some heavy hitting from the Critters. 
Axel Aranda, Savory Brown, Cesar Celaya, and Leonardo Perales each had a hit for the Critters, while Sarah White, Taylor Woodard, Carter Benson, Talan Gentry, and Maria Little each had two.  Ronnie Edwards had three hits.  Gentry had a double, Benson a triple, and Edwards took a home run. 
For the Defenders, Samuel Banks, Jon Hendrix, and Ian Smith each had one hit, with Aidan Turner and Hunter Buchanan each getting two.  Connor McClure had three hits. Smith had a double, McClure a triple, and Buchanan had a home run. 
The Critters won big, 12-4. 
That same evening the DCB Bucks took on the Liberty State Bank Mustangs in the battle of the banks. 
For the Bucks, Addison Hale, Gracie Randolph, and Haven Sams each had two hits, while Ian Barnes, Hunter Cannon, Landon Colwell, Carson Donnell, Jackson Mathis, Brett Page, and Garrison Randolph each had three.  Barnes, Colwell, Hale, Mathis, and Sams each had a double, while Page and Randolph had two doubles.  Cannon, Page, and Sams each had a triple.  It was a night for home runs with Barnes and Cannon each getting one, Donnell having two, and Randolph getting three home runs. 
Marshall Farler, Hannah Hennessee, Hayden Lincoln, and Sydeney Polk each had one hit for the Mustangs, while Haylie Washer and Blaine Atnip each had two. Katherine Knowles had three hits.  Atnip, Farler, and Polk each had a double, while Knowles, Lincon, and Washer each had a triple. 
The Bucks won, 19-5. 
The DeKalb Funeral Chapel Titans faced their biggest challenge of the week as they went up against the Tenneco Bombers. 
For the Titans, Skylar Savage and Tucker Webb each had one hit, while Avery Agee, Kole Kangas, Paul Oliver, and Briar Williams each had two.  Maddox Hale, Wesley Kent, and Ty Webb each had three hits. Savage, Webb, Webb, and Williams each had a double, while Agee, Hale, and Oliver each had two doubles.  Kent had a triple. 
Seth Gibbs and Isaac Hannah each had a hit for the Bombers, while Sam Harris, Peyton Saylors, Gracin South, Alexander Antoniak, Dylan Cathey, Madison Dawson, and Peyton Guess each had two.  Martin Willingham had three hits. Gibbs, South, and Willingham each had a double, while Antoniak had a triple. 
The Titans got the hard-fought win, 15-10.
