Lady Tigers bitten by Lionettes

Macy hedge scored 13 points against the Lionettes.

 

The Lady Tigers lost a road game to the Cannon County Lionettes Friday night 61-55.

 

While the score was tied at 16-16 at the end of the first period, Cannon jumped out to a 31-25 lead by halftime. The Lionettes led 48-41 by the end of the third, and went on to win by six points.

 

Macy Hedge and Lydia Brown scored 13 points each for DeKalb, while Hannah Panter and Mya Ruch both put in eight. Emme Colwell scored five, Madison Parsley and Joni Robinson hit three points each, and Sophie Cripps added two.

 

The Lady Tigers will travel to Baxter to face Upperman High School Friday night, and will visit Gordonsville Saturday evening. Both games tipoff at 6 p.m.
