The DCHS Lady Tiger soccer team won in a battle of the fourth and fifth place teams in the district on Oct. 8, handing Cannon County an 8-1 beating in the first post season game of 2016. The contest was held at Vanhooser field in Smithville. Haleigh Bass topped the DeKalb scorecard with five goals, scoring in the fifth, 20th, 26th 45th and 78th minutes of the match.
