The Lady Tigers started the Watertown Christmas Tournament last Tuesday afternoon, with a win over Cheatham County with a score of 45- 34. The Lady Tigers started out slowly, trailing behind the Lady Cubs with a score of 7-15 at the end of the first period. The second period the Lady Tigers came out hot and went on a 14-to-9 run to bring them within three points at the half with Cheatham County’s score at 24 and the Lady Tigers with 21.The third period started off with a big three-point basket by Lady Tiger Alex Meadows to tie the game, leading DeKalb to a 30- 26 lead at the end of the quarter.DeKalb finished strong with a 15-8 run and won the game with a final score of 45-34.Alex Meadows led the team in scoring with 15 points.
