The DeKalb County High School Lady Tiger soccer team met Community High School from Unionville on Aug. 19, coming away with a 2-2 tie. Haleigh Bass put the first goal in for DeKalb with an assist from Chloe Braswell in the 34th minute of play, and Community High did not answer until the 60th minute, when Gracie Simmons tied the score at 1-1. DeKalb went back ahead when Sophie Hackett scored a goal with an assist from Bass in the 69th minute, but Simmons put another one in in the 73rd minute to tie the score again at 2-2, where it remained at the final buzzer.
