The Lady Tigers faced White County Saturday afternoon in Smithville, coming away with a 63-44 loss to the Lady Warriors. White outscored DeKalb 12-10 in the first period, but the Lady warriors put 20 points on the board in the second, giving the team from Sparta a 32-18 advantage at the half. A 20-12 third period in White’s favor put the tally at 52-30, and while the Lady tigers outpaced the Lady warriors 14-11 in the fourth, it was not enough to pull the game out.
