The DeKalb County Little League association held its annual awards ceremony last Satuday at the Little League park in Smithvillle.
Lee Randolph was the 2011 Little League Golden Glove winner, Adam Ferrell took the batting title with a .444 average, and Josh Hembree was voted MVP for the season.
Derrick young took the 9-10 year-old Minor League MVP trophy, Grayson Redmon won the Golden Glove award, and Colter Norris’ .481 average clinched the Batting Title.
Jake Colwell was voted 7-8 year-old MVP, Jacob Johnson won the Golden Glove award, and Avery South took the Batting Title with a .645 average.
Liberty Machine won first place in regular season Little League competition with a 13-1 record, DeKalb Tire took first place in the 9-10 year-old division with a record of 14-1 on the season, and Tenneco came out on top in the in the 7-8 year-old category with a season record of 9-3.
