Liberty State Banks Craven Ponder fires a few pitches across home plate.

DeKalb Minor League ball continued last week with several games played with big point spreads as results. 
On June 7, Vickers’ Graves faced off with DTC.
The first inning was big for Vickers with Jordan Crook, Jeremy Borren, J.J. Pack, Isaac Robinson, Joseph Osment, and Antwon McCoy all coming in with runs.  Pack would come in with two runs in the second inning, joining Robinson, Borren, McCoy, Evan Sprague, and Westley Hallum.  Jeremy Boren would score again in the third.  Robinson pitched the entire game, throwing 53 pitches. 
Axel Aldino and Conner Crabtree came in with runs in the first inning for DTC, but after Michael Hallum came in with a run in the second, the team would not find home plate again.  Aldino threw 54 pitches for DTC before being relieved by Crabtree, who threw 48.  Levi Cantrell finished the game, throwing 18. 
Vickers took the victory, 15-3. 
Liberty State Bank played Southern Landscape Supply in a game that same day. 
Isaac Knowles and Lucas Hale came in with runs in the second inning for LSB, but Jordan Young scored the teams only other run in the third. Young tossed 27 pitches for the team before Lucas Hale came in and threw 32. Tyler Buchanan ended the game, throwing 21.
Braxton Hutchings started the scoring for SLS, touching home plate in the first inning.  But it was the third inning where the team took control of the game with Hutchings, Matthew Vickers, Caleb Taylor, Isaac Cross, Ben Snipes, Dylan Trapp, and Garrett Hayes all coming in with a run.  Hutchings also threw 77 pitches in the game, with Mattew Vickers finishing the game, throwing 11. 
SLS got the win, 8-3. 
On June 11, Los Lobos came away with a big win over SLS. 
The game started off well for Los Lobos with Malichi Hall, Gage Trapp, Grayson Hendrix, and David Judkins each getting a run in the first inning.  Hall, Trapp, and Hendrix would score again in the second inning, joining Jathan Willoughby, Hunter Walker, and Jaden Johnson.  Hall tossed 55 pitches for Los Lobos before Hall came in and threw 36.
Braxton Hutchings, Matthew Keaton, and Garrett Hayes each came in with a run in the third inning for SLS.  Jordan Panker would score the team’s final run in the fourth.  Caleb Taylor threw 46 before being relieved by Matthew Vickers, who threw 27. Isaac Cross ended the game, throwing 22. 
Los Lobos took the 10-4 win. 
That same day, Liberty State Bank took on DTC in what would be a big scoring game for LSB. 
Isaac Knowles, Kobbe Clarey, Caven Ponder, Levi Driver, and Lucas Hale each scored a run for LSB in the first inning, with Ponder, Driver, and Hale joining Jacob Braswell and James Tramel to score in the third.  Ponder threw 51 pitches in the game before Kolten Kirby came in and threw seven. 
Axel Aldino scored DTC’s one and only run, coming in the first inning.  Conner Crabtree threw 50 pitches before Aldino finished the game, throwing 47.
LSB came away with the win, 11-1.
