Casey Malone of Liberty ran the Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon on April 29. The course began and ended in downtown Louisville and ran through Churchill Downs and Iroquois Park. 18,000 runners participated. Casey completed the 26.2 miles in 5 hours and 36 minutes.
