The DeKalb Fair 5K and Fun Run was held Saturday evening in downtown Alexandria, and Josh Miller of Smithville took the overall prize with a time of 22:18 on the 3.1-mile course.
Proceeds from the event are earmarked for Run Down, a local non-profit organization supporting people with Down syndrome.
The second fastest time, 23:24, was turned in by Danny Mayo, and Emily Davis took third overall with a time of 24:15. Ethan Trapp took first place in the one-mile Fun run with a time of 10:03, while Maddox Pyburn came in second with a 13:50. Max Hendrixson claimed third in the Fun Run with a time of 14:47.\

•First place: Jesse Houser at 25:42.
•Second place: Aiden Malone at 30:58.
•Third place: Kacie Malone at 35:14.

•First place: Kelly Pyburn at 26:28.
•Second place: Andy West at 26:43.
•Third place: Doris Graham at 27:21.
Ages 51-57
•First place: Mark Sullivan at 25:50.
•Second place: Lonnie Swaps at 26:58.
•Third place: Deborah Bane at 40:21.
